Glenn 50’s Diner: A native Baguio treat

Baguio has a special place in my heart. Since my first time over thirty years ago, I always look forward to going back at every opportunity. That was why I was delightfully surprised to notice Glenn 50’s Diner along Leonard Wood Road (corner Gen. Luna and Brent Roads) only about 2-1/2 years ago. Even then, I wasn’t able to try the place initially because my wife had reservations on trying food without a personal recommendation. So, when I came along with my sisters and neplew on another visit to Baguio a few weeks later and I asked them, they didn’t hesitate to try it and we weren’t disappointed.

The tasty delights, the huge “American-sized” servings, the pleasant 50’s ambience and with the reasonable prices – it’s another native Baguio treat that’s worth coming back to during each visit. For those who’ve been to Mel’s Diner at Universal Studios Singapore and enjoyed the menu and the ambience, you’d be fond of this place, too.

When we came back to Baguio this year, I had to take my wife and daughter, and my wife's newly-wed brother and his wife to Glenn 50's Diner and they all agreed - that it's a ritual we'd want to make every time we're in Baguio. So next time you’re in the City of Pines, try the menu and ambience at Glenn 50’s Diner – it’s a one-of-kind Baguio treat.
